The film has been selected to open Cinemagi, the family programme at The Norwegian International Film Festival in Haugesund. It is a meaningful recognition for the team, and an exciting beginning for the next chapter in the Tottori universe.
For many audiences, Tottori! is already a cherished story. The first film, Tottori! – sommeren vi var alene (English title: Sisters! The Summer We Found Our Superpowers), received more than 20 international awards and won Amanda awards for Best Children’s Film and Best Original Music.
With Tilbake til Tottori, Chezville continues a story that has connected with children, families, and festival audiences far beyond Norway. We are looking forward to seeing the film begin its journey in Haugesund before meeting cinema audiences this fall.
