I’m really excited for next week — Midnight Hill will be at the first-ever Stavanger Filmfestival, happening 12–15. March right here in town. This brand-new festival marks a big moment for Stavanger, bringing film lovers together for screenings, conversations and shared cinematic experiences that celebrate stories from near and far.
After spending many years abroad in the US, it’s been great to come back home to Stavanger, and the warmth and support I’ve felt from so many filmmakers and creatives here has been really meaningful. It’s reminded me how special it is to be part of a film community that’s curious, open and full of energy.
